1890 – St. James’s Church, Spanish Place, London

The design for this new church was made an open competition. Edward Goldie, great-grandson of the architect of the previous chapel, Signor Joseph Bonomi, won the competition. Ppartially completed in an early Gothic design, it was opened on Michaelmas Day 1890. It is one of the most magnificent 19th Gothic revival interiors in London. Grade II* listed.
