1884 – Third Placed Entry for Admiralty & War Offices, Whitehall, London
Architect: Aston Webb & E. Ingress Bell
One of the shortlisted entries for a new massive office complex for the Admiralty and War Office in London. A collaboration between E. Ingress Bell and Aston Webb. Over a period of twenty-five years, they frequently collaborated on projects although they were never in formal partnership. Design placed third and published in The Building News, August 22nd, 1884.
