1883 – Clarendon Hotel, Portage Avenue, Winnipeg

Designed by local architect James Chisholm, this large hotel was constructed at the northwestern corner of Portage Avenue and Donald Street. Demolished in 1920, when the owner hired the original architect James Chisholm and his son Colin Campbell Chisholm to design a two-storey replacement.
