1890 – St. Michael’s Church, Coventry, Warwickshire
Architect: John Oldrid Scott
St Michael’s church was originally built in the 14th century but was extended and restored by J. Oldrid Scott between 1883-90 and made a collegiate church in 1908. It became a cathedral in 1918 but was badly damaged by bombing in 1941. This was replaced by a new cathedral designed by Basil Spence in 1951-62.
