“These shops, now building in High-street, Norwood, are from the designs of Mr. Arthur Cawston, architect, of Clement’s-lane, E.G. The buildings are in red brick, and are covered with Broesley tiles, the woodwork being painted white.” Published in The Building News, March 4 1881.
