1880 – Women’s Baths, Bray, Co. Wicklow

Concrete sea baths for ladies only for the Bray Pavilion Company along Bray seafront later the Promenade. According to The Irish Times “The baths… will form a very pretty building…they will cover a space of one hundred and sixty-five feet in length and will cost £1,630.” Demolished in the early 60s with a replacement baths building of 1965 constructed which itself became an eyesore and was demolished. Now the site of the aquarium.
