Published in The Building News, October 3rd 1879. “This lodge, which is just completed, forms a part of the new cemetery which will be consecrated during next month. It is built of local red bricks, with “Brown’s” ornamental bricks sparingly used for gables and other purposes, and the projecting gable over entrance is timbered with Portland cement rendering. Mr. Arthur Ardron, of Leicester, is the architect. “
