This large Grade II listed red brick, Queen Anne style house was designed for the artist George Henry Boughton RA (1833-1905) in a neighbourhood favoured by many artists of the time. Quite large, it is now seperate flats. Broughton was a landscape and genre painter, illustrator and writer.
