1877 – The Royal Bank of Scotland, 1 Bishopsgate, London

Design for Royal Bank of Scotland building. No longer in use as a bank, and since the re-numbering of Bishopsgate its address is No.1. A fine classical facade with a large well-lit banking hall at street level with tall Corinthian columns. Two floors of offices above, with a dormered attic storey. The facade is Portland Stone over a steel structure. Published in The Builder, September 1st 1877.
