Interior view Looking east, published in The Building News, December 24th 1875. The church was built between 1876 and 1877, in the Early English style to designs by the architect James Fowler. It seated around 600 people, and the chancel was decorated by George Frederick Bodley. The church was closed and demolished in 1968.
