1874 – Proposed design for St. Michael’s Church, Teignmouth, Devon
Architect: F. C. Deshon
Unbuilt design published in The Architect, August 8 1874.
“This is a design for an entire rebuilding of an existing church, which was erected in 1823, and is unsightly, inconvenient, and in a bad state of repair. The plan has been designed somewhat to suit the present building, as it is proposed to add to it at first only the chancel, vestry, and organ chamber, leaving the nave to be completed hereafter. The accommodation will be for 645 persons, and the estimated cost is 5,600. The design is by Mr. F. C. Deshon , of 37 Norfolk Street, Strand .”
