1874 – 61 Donegall Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim
Architect: William Hastings
Former home of the Belfast Newsletter, the facade features relief portraits of people associated with the newspaper and the history of publishing. The Newsletter was first published in 1737 and is one of the longest newspapers in publication.
The building is of sandstone with a cast iron balcony on the central bay at first floor level, above which is a octagonal lantern. The cornice above the windows is richly decorated with floral carvings.
