1863 – Design for Hotel de Ville, Tourcoing, Nord, France

Winning entry in a competition to design a town hall for Tourcoing, held in 1863. Although they awarded the premium to Parisian architect Léon Rohard, the council decided to hold a second competition in 1866 which was won by Charles Maillard who constructed a town hall in the Second Empire style. Published in The Building News, January 13th, 1871.
