1870 – No.31 Dame Street, Dublin
Architect: J.E. Rogers

Built on a narrow Wide Streets Commissioners plot, is this ornate office building for the Caledonian Fire & Life Insurance Company. Designed in a Ruskinian gothic, the pair of windows on the first floor are particularly striking with their fine carving and flanking decorative roundels.
