1866 – Captain William Kennedy House, Manitoba
A simple unadorned but robustly detailed stone house on the riverbank. A great example of the vernacular fieldstone structures once common to the former Red River Settlement. Extended circa 1920, it is now a teahouse after a recent structural restoration.
