1863 – Former Ulster Bank, Sligo, Co. Sligo
Architect: James Hamilton

The architect James Hamilton was responsible for the headquarters of the Ulster Bank in Belfast – a similarly ornate building in Giffnock stone (a fine sandstone). He was a Scottish architect who picked up some other commissions in Ireland – several buildings around Belfast, and further bank branches from the Ulster Bank company. No longer a bank after the demise of the Ulster Bank in 2022.
