A house on site of Castle View House, constructed for Countess of Glengall. Underwhelming exercise in a Baronial style, the interiors were described as meanly proportioned. Auction of house and furnishings in 1962 after the death of its last owner Colonel R.B. Charteris, shortly before the buildings loss in a fire.
