1860 – Central Markets, Cork

Home to the renowned English Market, the Central Markets have their primary entrance on Princes Street. the markets area network of pedestrian passageways linking various streets and alleys in the area, including an entrance onto Grand Parade. The Princes Street entrance is the grandest, a riot of polychromic brickwork above a large entrance way leading into a galleried hall with cast-iron fountain.
