Described in 1885 as ‘a simple though shapely building handsomely decorated with closely clinging ivy’. The ivy is gone now, but this is a simply designed church with the minimum of architectural fuss. The simple gothic details are limited to the main entrance doorway with large window above; side lancet windows with lattice glazing patterns; and the polygonal pinnacles embellishing the roofline.
