1833 – Former Church of Ireland, Rockingham, Boyle, Co. Roscommon

In the centre of Lough Key Forest & Activity Park there is the ruins of a former Church of Ireland from the old Rockingham Estate. It was built in 1833 and was taken into state ownership after Rockingham House was burnt down in 1957. In 2018, it re-opened to the public after remedial work to secure the building’s structure. Roofless.
