A fine Gothic style gatehouse into the Rockingham Demesne, now Lough Key Forest Park. Many of the other gatehouses were designed by Humphrey Repton (draughtsman to John Nash) but this differs hugely from the other more classically designed lodges associated with the demesne. A finely detailed archway with punched limestone dressings an vaulting. The bollards are also original although now missing their linking chains.
