A fine terrace of houses with original Wide Street Commissioner shopfronts at ground level, this building remains in good condition although minus its original glazing pattern. Similar shopfronts can be seen on this Quay and on the opposite Burgh Quay, and other isolated sites in the city. Interesting plaster crest of the Dublin Steam Packet on main façade. Some restoration work carried out in 1915 by W.H. Byrne & Son.
