1720 – House, 26 Fishamble Street, Dublin

The oldest remaining building on Fishamble Street, and is the oldest continuously inhabited house in Dublin. For many years it was the only building standing on the street but now surrounded by newer apartments. It was built around 1720 though it contains remains of older houses, and it’s sited along the line of the old wall.
