Folks,
this is just a post to make you aware of http://www.turnerscross.com which features Irelands most famous Art-Deco church.

You'll find everything from history, architectural design and images taken before and after the recent renovation.

We've also got images of the concealed attic that supports the suspended plaster ceiling.

And to top it off.. we have details and images on most of the other Barry Byrne churches scattered throughout the US.

............looking at the images.........that's a beautiful church. It has to be one of the most significant Art Deco buildings in the country.

QUICK! get it listed ... because you can guarantee the local council hasnt thought to! Remember the Wigs Teape factory!

It is listed.. in fact Duchas were there for a lot of the renovation and stopped several changes from going ahead.. notably the carpeting of the interior and selection of painting colours.
