Copenhagen Architecture & Design Festival.

For the third year in a row, Wonderful Copenhagen and participating organizations highlight architecture and design that will give the public experiences that are out of the ordinary. The festival, which showcases the newest trends in Danish architecture and design, will take place from 16th to 18th May 2008.

For three intensive days, visitors will have the opportunity to experience new sides of Copenhagen architecture and design, as more than 130 different cultural institutions, companies and organisations offer guided tours, lectures and exhibitions. They represent not only the established and the underground but also the next generation and assure that the festival offers both unique, fun and unusual experiences. This year, some of the arrangements will focus on light, architecture from a child's perspective, sustainability, Copenhagen by the sea, city life, city space and planning.

All events are free. It will be noted in the program if an event or activity requires registration.

For the first time, the programme will also feature the architecture of Malmo, the Swedish city a short distance across the sound.

Scandinavian Airlines fly twice daily from Dublin to Copenhagen and fares start from €48 one way including taxes, valid until end May.
