Here is a great link featuring pictures of Stormont under construction. The iceing on the cake is an illustration of the original design which featured a striking Dome!

Unfortunately, there are no renders of Sir Arnold Thornleys masterplan which would have seen the Parliament Building flanked by a Ministerial Building and the High Court. Although, having spoken to a chap on another forum, aparently there was an exhibition in Stormont before Christmas at which they were exhibited.
