According to Paul Clerkin, publisher of Archiseek.com, "This is a much more powerful solution that we were previously using. Even though that has been very successful, it was felt that our users deserved more in the way of features. The new system also makes it easier for agencies or employers to manage their postings. Over the next week, we expect to move all existing recruiters to the new site."
It has all the features that jobseekers expect from recruitment websites including RSS feeds, email posting updates, and resume and application handling. The system will also allow for resume searching and premium job postings, both features which will appeal to recruiters.
Job opportunities posted will continue to be pushed via the Archiseek.com newsletters and website, driving Archiseek.com readers to the new website.
Archiseek.com is aimed at both the general public and the architecture community and started in November 1996 as Architectural Dublin. Since that it has expanded to cover buildings from all over Ireland and abroad. With an enthusiastic online community and dedicated readership, the website has over 2.6 million pageviews per month and boasts over 40,000 email subscribers.
