Why did it take so long for Rogers to receive this award? You would have thought that he should have picked it up some years ago....

agreed, especially when you consider Zaha Hadid winning it in 2004. Im a big fan of Hadid and all but when you consider that she picked it up before Rogers, who has contributed so much more to architecture... Well, it makes you wonder

Long overdue.........

Went to a talk he gave in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in the early nineties..........very interesting but some of the questions from the floor still make me cringe.
