Pretty good list. Non-appearance of KPMB not a problem for me.

Always depends on the jury. It's nice to see Saucier get the recognition.

I insist. This is work that can stand up internationally. It makes me feel a lot better about
spending time in Canada.

I'm sure your experience will improve in parallel with the weather; summer is fantastic in Toronto.
How did the search for work go? Ontario seems to be doing quite well in general.

Hey thanks. Not great, but trying not to commute to Toronto, doing some freelance from KW, thinking about a practice but need a partner, may have to accept the commute though I'll see. Spring certainly amazing, just like that and garden seems to grow six inches.

I wouldn't fancy the commute, especially in the winter [i.e. October to April].
You'll be well placed to see KPMB's latest opus under construction, at least

Re: Governor General's Medals in Architecture 2006 Announced
The two projects are generations apart in design terms. The city hall was their first major commission after the Barton Myers days and is rather overwrought. The later work like the winery is a lot quieter.
