Best Eco - Centric Schools??
Howdy there Archipeople,
Glad to find you, maybe you can help me out.
I am wanting to start stufying Architecture somewhere really serious about environmental issues, energy conservation, that kind of thing. Does anyone have any advice on which places are the best for this? Its pretty hard to tell from prospectuses as it seems everyone has to at least mention the issues - it's either compulsory or trendy, I dont know!
I know Sheffield Hallam has started a course, but it's brand new so I'm a bit edgy about it.
Bristol UWE looks really good, but the BA is 4 years as is RTPI accedited too, (which may be a bonus? Anyone think this is worth the extra year??)
Is anyone studying finding their course either too involved in these issues or not enough? If so where are you studying?
Or is it a matter of finding a good flexible course and pushing these issues in your own personal way?
Does Anyone know if Brighton is a good Uni?
Any help on this would be hugely appreciated. Im very confused and need some direction!!!
