I remember a few years ago reading a report that the citizens of Coventry had collected money for a bell for this church - but I see no mention of that in the report.
The two cities are twinned - mainly due to fairly obvious historical similarities - and there is considerable contact between them.
Bell or no bell, a beautiful church.

Actually, my mistake. What the people of Coventry donated was a golden cross and orb, according to this:

i was is Dresden a few years back and to see a massive baroque church being built is strange to say the least.. As for the building its hard to get and idea of the size until you are right beside it a really stunning building. The next big rebuilding project in germany the royal palace in Berlin may prove to be a more difficult project.
