I see that CIE have changed their logo - changing the font and italicising the segements around it.

What a shame... it was a great logo - deisgned by Patrick Scott and was parioded by Myles Na gCopleen in The Irish Times with a series of articles with cartoons suggesting uses for the CIE logo.

Is there any way of seeing the Myles Parodies today?

This CIÉ logo was called the "broken wheel". It is still in use today, though mostly superceded by the Iarnród Eireann, Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann logos.

And the broken wheel logo replaced the "Winged Wheel" CIE logo - aka "The Flying Snail"
