They've already been turned down once, but have appealed the decision. Should be finding out whether it's a go sometime in the next two weeks...

It's ridiculously easy to get hired in Vancouver right now. It seems like every firm is hiring since the Olympic bid was successful. The Architectural Institute of British Columbia is a good place to start looking for firms you are interested.
It's also a great place to spend the winter!!

I concur with Kitten... architecture firms in Vancouver are very busy. Many are looking for help. They're especially desperate for people with at least a few years of Canadian experience under their belt - people who can step right in and be productive off the bat. Frustratingly, from what I've experienced (perhaps my perspective is skewed... don't know), this desperation has not yet put upward pressure on salaries.
