kinetic architecture
I'm having my graduate thesis on kinetic architecture. It's very difficult to find valuable references. Anyone knows any resource - books, websites, project - about that topic? Thanks

Re: kinetic architecture
why did you pick kinetic architecture when you don't seem to know anything about it?

kinetic architecture
I'm having a small essay about kinetic architecture too, and I think that I can give you some clues to search for:
try finding out about oosterhuis and his e-motive house (there is a book: Hyperbodies-towards an e-motive Architecture)
kinetic design group MIT
also search for intelligent architecture and smart houses
An internet addresse that seemed quite helpful:http://www.iit.edu
If I find more about the subject. i'll contact you again. Hope to have helped.
If you find anything interesting, I would be grateful if you let me know too.

Re: kinetic architecture
Thanks Iro,
your link was helpful, now i'm getting into the topic.
even I found more intersting materials at:
www.aiborg.net
This team of architects made a more architecture design addressed research on a kinetic structure for leisure field. Their book Leisurator is interstingly read and explanatory on how to use and programme a reconfiguarable playground on space and time.

Hope it is not too late posted for your essay.

On which subject, it appears that the influence of Archigram is finally taking hold- in suburban Dublin of all places!
