Timber for Building

Can anyone offer guidance as to whether or not timber for building purposes is pretreated against insect and fungal attack as standard, or does it need to be specified separately?

Mostly not when you order it they will charge you a percentage more per m3 of timber for pressue impregnation i think it used to be in and around 8% on to of the timber price
