How to upload attachments

When making your post, under the submit button is a set of tabs - options / upload attachments and poll creation

click on upload attachment
and select the files from your hard drive

The an Options tab, which includes checkboxes for

Disable BBCode
DIsable smilies
Do not automatically parse URLs
notify me when a reply is posted

Then there is a heading "Topic review: How to upload attachments" [in this case]

Then there is the TItle, Author's name, Date and Time of Posting and the Body of your post [the previous post]

While I'm at it

the "List" function doesn't work properly in terms of inserting buttons [*] you have to do this manually.

The normal keyboard shortcuts of Ctrl + i(italics), b(bold), and u(underline) don't work.
They all only bring up the bookmarks pane to left of my Firefox screen.

The smilies texts etc. is not parsed into the smiling face and laughing face etc.

Might as well get all of these things addressed at the same time.

Paul, just killing two birds with the one stone here (i.e. a test upload of a screenshot depicting a previous post where the attachments are not displaying.)

It works . . . . . . would be great if the attachments migrated from the old server would display too.
