No rail system does that because it creates un-neccessary maintenance overhead down the line.

Approx twice the length of Pearse mainline ... over 400M + the up and down bits.
Btw I know because I asked a CIE architect.
Now for the big question ... has anyone a "fix".
Don't let PVC King and Peter Fitz put anyone off.
