Time delay before 'edited by' kicks in

I note that it is possible to edit any post any time without a time of editing been entered on the new software; is this something you have a filter on or is this an inherent defect in the package enabling retrospective alteration of posts that have the capacity to undermine the flow; I agree that 5 minutes is too short but an hour would protect flow and prevent people editing posts days later.

Is this something you could look into please??
