Google SketchUp Help
Hi,
I am trying to build a basic 3D image on Google SketchUp and have found a problem if anyone can help.....my building has curved walls with a monopitch roof that follows the curved walls, however, SketchUp wont recognise the roof as a plane and is therfore leaving the roof open instead of shading it as a surface. Has anyone encountered this problem before or know how to overcome it? It seems the curves are causing the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Breege

Re: Google SketchUp Help
Draw a line across the void. Sometimes this will sort it but some times it then fills one side and leaves the other a void. If this happens keep drawing lines across till you can't read the void any more. Then hide the line(s). Its a pain in the @rse but probably the quickest way around it. Normally when this has happened to me it's because the lines are off, so it's not 2d. This method of fixing it can sometimes show up in the rendered version, so if you want it to be perfect then you might need to redraw it.
