Were there any buildings built in the last year that you thought were worthy of an award, lads? This project-by-project deconstruction and nitpicking session seems very glass half empty stuff.. How about establishing the Archiseek Forum Planning and Functionality Awards as a counterpoint to the dastardly AAI and their superficial aesthetic assessments?

The stuff that wins the AAI is always very good stuff,
. . . . usually, looking back, it is the best stuff produced that year, but that doesn't mean it's above criticism or that that we should just accept every claim at face value.
