Áras an Uachtaráin - Radio Interview
Hi,
I am a volunteer presenter and researcher for Phoenix FM the Community Radio station for the greater Dublin 15 area. I have recently begun research on a programme focusing on the rich history of Aras an Uachtarain and would like to get an architects perspective for the programme.
Of specific interest to me is the role of Nathaniel Clements who seemed to be an amateur architect but who built and was the first occupant of the mansion, as well as gathering information on the various works and alterations that took place over the course of the centuries.
If anyone has an interest in this please let me know and I would be delighted to interview you.

Gerry, you know there is a thread on the Aras here already. Some commentary which might interest.

I'd contact the OPW - there's probably an architect whose responsibility is any work on the house and they may be able to talk at length about it
