Does anyone know of a similar ceiling design that still exists anywhere in Ireland?
Looking through a number of numbers the only ceiling I can find that resembles it at all is the library at Baron's Court which was designed by William Morris and the resemblance is fairly slight.
I am working on art project that involves making a 2-dimensional plan of the plasterwork as the basis for a temporary flower bed on the site. I have mapped out the basic structure but I am having particular difficulty in making sense of the area around the apse and interpreting in in two dimensions. I can't tell if the wall on either side of the apse is curved like the side walls or flat. Can anyone advise me on this or direct me to where I could see something similar?

No harm in broadening the search as if the archive has nothing and if there is any link to the Iveagh Estate; it is possible that they may have commisioned something similar in London or further away as well when a particular style was in vogue.
