Well, it would be very pricey to use curved steel trusses, rather than straight. In fact, very few "curved" buildings have actual curved members.

That been said, they do seem to be pretty long facets in the curves, spanning three joints. Looks a little odd alright.

A curve is a series of straight lines, most circles aren't truely round etc. Its only at grand scales that its noticeable. And even then only up close.

That said, poor choice of photograph given the title. Beams in the foreground are quite close
