Doubtful as work is due to commence on October this year according to banners on the building. wouldn't leave much time.
More likely to be the "cultural/public use" element often proposed by Developers in turn for increased/high rise development.(similar to the Childrens museum proposed in the Smithfield proposal recently)

I went down to the site just after the new year and I see that site clearance works have almost been completed. Therefore I presume building work is about to start. Does anybody know if the scheme has been altered in any way from the original design ?

Does Liebeskind mean the plan for Dun laoghiare harbour? That plan includes and Irish diaspora museum, commercial unit, hotel and apartments. It is in Dub county - fits the bill, doesn't it.
By the way, does anyone know of the Dun Laoighre plans progress?
