permanent ventilation

Are habitable rooms stll required to have permanent (i.e. uncontrollable) ventilation, and if so how much?

Have a look at Part F of the building regs (ventilation) as there are certain variables but generally up to 10m2 the opening for backround ventilation is 6500mm2
