Boundry Issues

We live in a terrace. We have full planning permission to build an extension back and front of the house.
We are building 150cm back from mid line of the boundry line. There are existing boundry walls back and front. We took the back boundry wall down to put in foundations and we will also need access to plaster the outside of the house. The back wall was in a poor state n was crumbling when foundations being dug.
Our neighbour had verbally agreed to it coming down if needed for safety and as it was crumbling our side, we did take it down.He now says he did not want it down under any circumstances.
We have said we will rebuild the wall after our plasterer finishes our side of back extension..

Also it seems The sewer in our garden and the neighbours kitchen waste water pipes and their drain are running into our sewer pipe. This was only discovered as we were putting in foundations for the extension. The neighbour says we have to come up with the solution as the drain and pipe are our side of the boundry. Is this the case?
Re: The front wall,he says he will have an engineer come look, we have asked for a time frame but have got no definite date from him,so we are left with open foundations and concrete on hold out back and half dug foundations out front.
any suggestions-advice welcomed!
