Land Fill - Housing Development

can anyone point me in direction of where on the web I would find info on the current laws/regs on infill for a proposed housing development, the types of fill permitted, the depth of fill permitted, etc. Friend has mentioned something about new regs under Sustainable Development but I'm struggling to get through what I've pulled up on the Dept of Envrionment website. Anyone with advice pls.

if you're referring to stuff for filling a hole in the ground try googling "backfill" rather than "infill"
