Heat Energy Rating of Buildings
What are the requirements in relation to above for planning applications submitted from now on.
i now that there was a change recently.
Does this change require any extra work on the part of the agent?
If so, What?

For all new builds now an energy rating needs to be carried out. A fixed format has been prepared by he SEI.
The agent or a third party will carry out this work. In the near future all houses on the market, including second hand homes will require the cert.

but does this assessment need to be carried out and the report submitted as part of the planning application or prior to construction. Also who gets this report. Who checks all this?
