Legal (planning) advice needed?
Can anyone recommend somebody I could talk to with a view to mounting a legal challenge to a decision given by my local planning authority? I just want to find out if I have grounds for complaint but I don't want to spend a fortune in legal fees if I have no case.
I have been told I can appeal to Bord Pleanala but am I right in thinking they will only examine the planning side of the dispute but not the process involved?
In a nutshell i believe my PA has breached the planning regulations in making this decision and the new development will contravene their own local development plan.

If you believe the PA has contravened its own devp. plan then lodge your appeal with An Bord Pleanala and point this out. The inspector will examine the contents of the devp. plan and will basically adjudicate on same
