Provencher Pedestrian Bridge

Opened late last year in Winnipeg, this is a pedestrian and bike bridge near the city centre....

It's a really lovely thing to walk or cycle across with a fabulous view of the river.

Nice. It reminds me alot of Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. Here are some pictures of that one:

There has been talk of building a pedestrian bridge over the Rideau Canal in Ottawa (at Somerset street). I hope that they go through with that and that it's as nice as the winnipeg bridge.

Its the sense of enclosure you get from suspension bridges that i like... enclosed by the cables
